Challenges

Sydney had a lot of trouble adjusting to the rental home. She cried and cried, asking to "go home", wanting to go back to the house we just sold. She became very clingy, wouldn't leave my side and stopped sleeping through the night. She would lay near the door sobbing and wouldn't let anyone touch her. Sydney was waking up at night every two hours or so, crying hard until I came in and held her. We finally had some relief when I asked her if she wanted her bedroom door left open at night. Typically, I would shut her bedroom door since we have two teenagers in the house. Our house is not quiet! That along with many prayers has brought us back to sleeping from around 9pm to 9am, hooray!
