Springtime Excitement

My Dad and Grand- mother arrived this week to help out with the family. Ryan had an accident in track which broke his nose and required a hospital visit and a few follow up appointments. He is on the road to recovery, but it was a nasty accident. Sydney was fascinated by the entire ordeal and kept pointing and saying "Ryan has boo-boo nose!"

Sydney was thrilled to have family here, she loves her Pop-pop and Mamaw and didn't mind staying with them while we took Ryan to appointments. She kept making her Great-Grandmother laugh by singing endless renditions of Twinkle-Twinkle Little Star into her microphone. You could make out words here and there, but for the most part she nearly swallows the microphone making it loud and unintelligible. She has also learned to skip somewhere along the line and insisted that her Granddad skip with her through the mall. He's a good Grandpa and did what he was told --and yes, she does have us all wrapped around her finger.

Big brother Brandon had some exciting news this week, he was the anchor in a relay team that finished in 2nd place at a high school track meet and placed 4th in the individual 800. To put it into proper perspective, Brandon is in 9th grade and running against juniors and seniors on the varsity track team. He also just earned a Varsity letter and an academic scholar award for being on the varsity swim team and maintaining high grades in all honors courses. He is blessed in so many ways and certainly in both academics & sports.
I'm adding some group pictures from our Disney reunion that I received recently. Enjoy!
