Our Disney Princess

Sydney loved Walt Disney World! She went on many of the rides at Magic Kingdom, clapping and dancing on them until the rides were over. She danced so hard on the It's a Small World ride that she fell off of the seat and landed on the floor of the boat! That didn't phase her, she just got back up and started dancing again. She also loved the evening fireworks over the castle, clapping and yelling "Wow!" until they ended. One of her favorites was the Country Bear Jamboree, I don't think she blinked once. She kept tapping the people around us and pointing to the bears, she couldn't keep her joy to herself. We had the best time watching her take in all the excitement. She loved all the characters, too. Mickey, Pooh and the entire gang got plenty of hugs and kisses. For naps we brought our stroller and she fell asleep right in the parks, then stayed up and went on rides & visited characters until late at night.

Steve was pretty sick for most of the trip, so unfortunately we were unable to visit with Sydney's orphanage sister who lives near Orlando. We had wanted to surprise them and it was terribly disappointing to leave without saying hello. We also had out of state relatives who were in town for the parks and couldn't meet them either. Thank God (literally) that Steve finally felt better and we enjoyed three wonderful days of Magic Kingdon and Epcot at the end of our trip. It was great!!! Wish you could have been there to see those beautiful eyes sparkle and hear the laughter!
